Rattatats

Our food is perfect for both rats and mice, but not for hamsters or any other pets! All animals need different nutrients in varying amounts, so please only feed this mix to rats and mice.

The deluxe, premium rat mix sold here is called Rattatats, and it's important to know that this mix is not a stand-alone food. Rats and mice also need a source of protein and other nutrients not found in this mix. Our pet rats in our home get Nutro Natural Choice Lite dog food along with the Rattatats mix. Other rat owners highly recommend Innova Senior dog food in addition to a mix. Still others give their rats a rodent lab black called Harlan Teklad. My personal experience with these blocks is that rats detest them and will only eat them when that's all that is available to eat. While the blocks typically do contain the minimum of most of a rat's requirements, many do not have all. Besides, what fun is it to just eat lab block your whole life?? If you've ever had a rat, you know how fun it is to give him or her fun food to eat and play with! And, of course, it's even better when that food is healthy, which is what Rattatats is all about.
